Congratulations to our fellow ABVT diplomate, Dr. Wilson K. Prior to recently joining UC-Davis he was a professor of veterinary toxicology in the Department of Veterinary Diagnostic and Production Animal Medicine at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Rumbeiha received his veterinary degree in 1982 from Makerere University School of Veterinary Medicine in Kampala, Uganda. He subsequently obtained his doctorate in biomedical sciences with a focus on toxicology from the University of Guelph. Afterwards Dr. Rumbeiha completed his veterinary toxicology residency at Kansas State University.

AAAS is one of the world’s most important scientific societies with over 10 million members.  Election as a Fellow of the AAAS is an honor bestowed upon members by their peers. Fellows are recognized for meritorious efforts to advance science or its applications.  The AAAS began awarding the distinction of Fellow in 1874.
